The location of the resort was absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of the surrounding islands. Snorkeling off the beach was fantastic, with crystal clear waters and an abundance of marine life to explore. the main dining/lounge/pool area was beautiful and provided a great space to relax and enjoy the scenery.
the safari tents were in need of replacement and did not provide locks, which made me feel a bit uneasy about the security of my belongings. I felt that the resort could have offered more on-site activities and a posted schedule to make it easier to plan their days.

The stunning waterfront bure exceeded our expectations with its intricate details, including a canopy bed and outdoor shower. The staff was incredibly friendly and always ready to assist. The food provided during meal times was impressive, with a wide variety of options and great taste. The location offered excellent snorkeling right at our doorstep and we also enjoyed a fantastic snorkeling trip to swim with reef sharks. The affordability of drinks at the bar, especially during happy hour, was a pleasant surprise.
The lack of organization and communication regarding non-diving activities was a disappointment. We were unable to book snorkeling or day trips to other islands due to a priority given to divers.

Fantastic location on a picturesque island
Spacious and comfortable accommodation in hut-like tents with sliding wooden doors. Friendly and helpful staff, the best of all the Yasawa islands visited. - Great food with buffet breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. - Beautiful house reef for snorkeling with coral and various fish species. - Free kayaks available for exploring the surrounding water. - Amazing sunsets and scenery from the top of a rock. - Exciting diving experiences with bull sharks. - Plenty of activities and self-walks around the island. - Enjoyable pool hammock area and beachfront location
Felt so much at home, no reason to complain

What a stunning location! The views are even more breathtaking in person than in the pictures. The resort itself is well-kept and organized. We opted for one of the beachfront bures and waking up to the view each morning was pure paradise. The snorkeling right in front of the resort was incredible, with the best reef we encountered in the Yasawa Islands. And of course, the highlight of our stay was the mind-blowing experience of scuba diving with the bull sharks - it was done in a respectful and responsible way. The meals, though pre-paid, were plentiful and tasty. Just be mindful of the additional cost if you're on a strict budget. The resort may have some mosquitoes, so don't forget to bring repellent. While the vegetarian menu options were a bit limited, the stir-fried noodles were satisfying. The resort has a cozy atmosphere and the staff is friendly. With a maximum of around 30 guests, it feels like a peaceful and intimate retreat. The king-sized bed in our room was a comfortable touch. The resort's dining area is spacious and the house reef is perfect for snorkeling.

The snorkeling straight from the beach was incredible, with baby sharks and tropical fish swimming alongside us in the crystal clear waters. the meals package was convenient and the food was plentiful and tasty, especially the Fijian specialties. the staff team was the greatest asset, with their friendly and enthusiastic welcome creating a relaxed and happy atmosphere. the communal bathrooms and dorms were clean and spacious, and the staff made a real effort to make you feel at home.
The shared bathrooms could have been cleaned more often, and the beds were not very comfortable. the lack of supplies on the island, such as a full shop, meant that it was important to bring any necessary items like medicines or snacks with you.

Lovely island with great snorkelling. Bure slept 7 and had good storage space. Clean and spacious shared washrooms. Friendly staff. Lots of activities available. Shark snorkelling was enjoyable. Plentiful food options. Perfect for an easy relax. Best off-beach snorkelling I've done.
Felt like it was our own home, no complaints.

Staff friendly, beach beautiful, hiking fun. Drinkable tap water, cold beer, birthday cake. Will return, maybe bure instead of tent.

I had the most incredible experience scuba diving with sharks at Barefoot Kuata. The diving team was professional and ensured our safety throughout. The location in the middle of the ocean is absolutely breathtaking, and the water sports provided are top-notch. The staff were friendly and always greeted us with a smile. The food, prepared by the talented chef, was amazing. I highly recommend this resort for adventure seekers and ocean lovers.
